MobiQpons: Hyperlocal Mobile Coupons for iPhones |

Quick Pitch: MobiQpons delivers location based shopping coupons nationwide while enabling businesses to easily reach their target customers with significant cost savings.
Genius Idea: We’re really stoked about Coupious’ approach to providing mobile location-aware coupons. In the fact, the only issue we saw was that it was only available to a small group of beta testers in Indiana. MobiQpons, a competitor also tackling mobile coupons, is able to meet our right here, right now needs with their free iPhone app (BlackBerry and Android coming soon) that provides digital, location-based coupons to all.
Just like with Coupious, MobiQpon users can whip out their phone, launch the application, and get served with a list of nearby discounts for stores, restaurants, and services. The cashing-in process is also identical, so all you need to do is locate the appropriate coupon, and show it to the cashier, who will then enter or scan the barcode.
MobiQpon also provides a convenient way for deal seekers to search for coupons outside their immediate vicinity. They can also save their favorite stores for a quick way to filter coupons by shopping preferences. Results can also be filtered by distance or business name.
Of course, MobiQpons would be a pointless application if it didn’t have businesses and retailers using the service to provide the discounts that deal-hungry shoppers like us want. So, businesses interested in participating in the mobile coupon space can use their website to create and disseminate digital discounts. Retailers pay per offer and performance, though MobiQpons does include the first coupon offer free of charge.
We love that MobiQpons brings digital discounts to our phones, and we can’t wait to start saving on-the-go, minus the hassle of coupon cutting.
